Autumn glow — autumn walk & afternoon tea

Join us for an autumnal afternoon in Alnarp with hot apple must, a hike through some of our favorite places in Alnarpsparken and afternoon tea in front of the fire at Grobruket.

We start at Grobruket with a cup of hot apple juice before heading out to the park.

Alnarpsparken looks like a park, but is actually a living textbook. When the Agricultural Institute started here in 1862, trees from all over the world were planted for teaching. During the walk we show some of the park's unusual trees, buildings and environments and tell us about how Alnarp has evolved from an agricultural institute to the place it is today.

It is not a traditional guided tour, but a quiet walk with us that has Alnarp as everyday life and is happy to show what we ourselves think is worth a detour.

When we return, the fire has started and afternoon tea is presented with autumn cake, less salty and sweet side dishes and coffee and tea. Grab a blanket, settle down and enjoy the dusk and autumn at Grobruket.

  1. Hot apple must at Grobruket

    We gather at Grobruket and start with a cup of hot apple juice.

  2. Autumn walk in Alnarpsparken

    A leisurely walk of about 45-60 minutes through some of our favorite places, unusual trees and environments with stories from the history of Alnarp.

  3. Afternoon tea in front of the fire

    Back at Grobruket, afternoon tea, coffee and tea, blankets and a warm place in front of the fire await you.

Time
The experience starts at 3pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends and runs for approximately 2 hours.

Weather
The hike is normally carried out even in the case of light rain. Dress according to the weather and choose shoes suitable for a walk in the park. In case of really bad weather, we shorten the hike and spend more time at Grobruket.

Family Friendly
The walk runs at a leisurely pace and is suitable for both adults and children.
